New Accolade for McCormick

The Senior Partner of leading Harrogate law firm McCormicks Solicitors has won new international recognition for his expertise in Sports and Entertainment law.

Peter McCormick OBE has been named as one of the world’s leading practitioners in the field in Who’s Who Legal’s 2017 publication.

Publication of the guide follows months of research, with the opinions of law firm clients and sports and entertainment experts from around the world canvassed. The edition covers all areas of law in Sports and Entertainment, including transactional, intellectual property, regulatory and litigation, and lawyers from 34 countries across the world are highlighted.

Mr McCormick holds a number of senior roles in English football for both the Premier League, including Chairman of the Football Board, Chairman of the Legal Advisory Group, Chairman of the Premier League Medical Care Scheme Ltd, Chairman of Football Stadia Improvement Fund Ltd and Trustee of the Football Foundation, and for the Football Association (FA) of which he is Vice-Chairman.
