We are delighted to announce that we are now able to verify the identity of directors affected by the new rules introduced by Companies House.

Companies House now requires all directors and Persons of Significant Control (PSCs) of UK companies and LLPs to verify their identity. Individuals can complete the verification themselves or do so via an Authorised Corporate Service Provider.

McCormicks is now registered as an ACSP so can carry out the work on behalf of clients.

Senior Associate Solicitor David Leuchars of our Corporate and Commercial department said: “If anyone needs to complete this process, we can now offer a fixed fee of £150 + VAT per person for individuals based in the UK to act on their behalf, either completing verification in person or online, to ensure the process goes smoothly.”
