Janice Colley is an experienced Commercial Property Lawyer and prior to joining McCormicks was former Partner of a medium sized Leeds law firm before becoming a Consultant Solicitor working with well-known Yorkshire based law firms and also in-house. She has been recognised as an expert by the Legal 500.

Janice has built up a strong reputation for offering expert legal advice on a wide range of commercial property matters and acquisitions and disposals including specific expertise in the licensed premises, especially  pubs and hotels. She has experience in acting for large corporations, including Pubcos and dentists, as well as small and medium enterprises and individual property investors. In addition Janice has advised on a broad range of property related matters, including telecommunication site acquisitions and acting for land owners in relation to green energy storage.

Janice is a Commercial Property Solicitor with over 25 years’ qualified experience both in private practice and in-house and her extensive experience and range of clients approachability has meant she is at ease working with large and small clients recognising the importance of a transaction to the client no matter the ultimate value of the matter.
